A Drive in the Country



After leaving the Jumpers and Jazz Festival in Warwick, we took a different route back to Toowoomba just for grins and saw a different bit of the countryside.




Along the way we came to the very small town of Kahara (pop. 278). Interestingly enough, they have a train station that appears to still be in use.


After leaving this tiny town, we drove though beautiful farmland. In the photo below, I promise, are not one but two Emu. They are far away (I didn't have the right equipment for such photography) and, hence, small, but they are indeed in there. Expand the image on your screen and you can just about see them. Another bird on the list!
